Demon - Bass guitar
After eight years on this earth I decided to play the drums. My dad played in a classical orchestra and soon I was a member too. That same year I got hold of my first KISS album i.e. KISS Alive 2. I was hooked. Having realised that drumming was not for me (I wanted to run around onstage) I sold the drumkit and got me a bass guitar.
Years went on and bands came and went up in smoke. When I was playing in my former band, OUTBREAK, Pattn, the drummer, suggested to go and see a KISS tribute band play in Ostend. You guessed it. KISStory Through circumstances that gig was cancelled. A few weeks later Pattn showed me a wanted poster saying; "If you can play bass guitar, if you like KISS and if the stage is your second home and you like to hang out... then you are the man for the job". I called the number on the ad and before I realised it I was a member. I was the new bassist in KISStory, the band I wanted to see a couple of weeks ago.
I saw KISS perform a couple of times. I went to Tilburg to check them out during the Monsters of Rock tour in 1988. After that I got to see them in Brussels and in Ghent during the Reunion tour and the Psycho circus tour.
Same as Gene the line "Only got one life to live and I’m gonna live it." (Trial by fire) sums up perfectly who I am.
