| Posted by Webmaster on 28 Jun 2010 |
Bill William Aucoin, beloved record industry executive, manager, entrepreneur, and creative visionary, passed away this morning, Monday, June 28 at 9:11 EST at the Aventura Hospital and Medical Center in Aventura, Florida. Born December 29, 1943, Bill was battling prostate cancer, and passed away from surgical complications.
Bill was the first manager of KISS, and therefore responsible for their enormous success.
On June 3, 2006, 30 years after the first KISS concert in Belgium, we organized the first KISS Expo in Belgium with Bill Aucoin as the exclusive guest.
Our condolences to the relatives of Bill.
Here are some pictures of Bill in Bruges. The pictures are made on June 4, 2006.

A word from our crewmember and photographer Luc Verdickt:
It's sad to hear that Bill passed away, I had the chance to meet him in person on one of the KISS conventions we organised.
Without Bill, KISS wouldn't have happened... He still had that drive when we met him.
And without KISS I would have never known so many fine people that I can call my friends, I mean this from the bottom of my heart!!!
Thanks for the great stories you shared with us, during that dinner in Bruges.
So Bill, rest in peace, and let the Gods of Rock welcome you into their hall of fame.
